  • IT Assessment
A comprehensive survey of peripheral information related to the IT environment, including internal controls, rules, and regulations, in addition to the items described in the Standard Plan. This includes the preparation of a survey report, on-site survey sheet, and improvement proposal document. * Only the Premium Plan includes travel expenses for the IIJ engineers from Japan.

Contributing to the Resolution of Many Customers' Issues

  • We conducted on-site surveys of IT environments at 30 overseas locations over six months. This allowed us to identify the unique security risks at each location and implement prioritized security measures.
  • After a ransomware infection on the servers at an overseas subsidiary, we conducted surveys at all group locations. This allowed us to implement a unified security service across all sites.
  • We requested to conduct a pre-survey for the implementation of a new system. After the on-site survey, ordered additional IT support, enabling one-stop deployment of the new system.
  • Before going public, we needed to establish governance across the entire group, including all overseas sites. The survey helped us identify weaknesses at each location, leading to the enhancement of internal controls throughout the entire group.

Q. How are surveys conducted at overseas locations?

We coordinate with IIJ Group's local subsidiaries and partners to visit customer offices and conduct on-site surveys. The Premium Plan involves dispatching security engineers from IIJ's Japan headquarters to conduct the survey.

Q. How customizable are the scope and depth of the survey?

We have three plans are available. From a simple survey of just the firewall to security solution proposals that cover the entire group, we offer optimal customization that best fits to your needs.

Q. How is information exchanged between the Japanese Headquarters and overseas sites?

Pre-survey meetings are held between the customers and IIJ at their respective headquarters in Japan. Based on these meetings, we coordinate with IIJ Group's local subsidiaries to conduct surveys at the customer's overseas sites. The survey results are compiled at IIJ's Japanese headquarters and then reported to the representative at the customer's Japanese headquarters.
