IIJ Group Supply Chain Procurement Policy

As a company that forms the backbone of critical social infrastructure and contributes to the advancement of a digital society, the IIJ Group is committed to deepening mutual understanding and building trust with all its suppliers. We continually work to establish and maintain safe supply chains with the goal of creating a sustainable society.
This Policy sets forth our procurement guidelines based on the Group’s Business Philosophy, the Guiding Principles for Employees, and our approach to sustainability.

1. Scope of Application

This Policy applies to all procurement activities conducted by the IIJ Group.
We also require our suppliers to support this Policy, and expect their cooperation in implementing it.

2. Respect for International Standards and Compliance with Laws and Regulations

The IIJ Group complies with international laws and regulations, as well as those of countries and regions where it operates, and provides all its suppliers with business opportunities through fair and open competition.

3. Respect for Human Rights

The IIJ Group respects the human rights of all stakeholders, including those throughout the supply chain, and does not engage in any form of discrimination.

4. Environmental Consideration

The IIJ Group complies with environmental laws and regulations and conducts environmentally responsible procurement activities to help reduce society’s overall environmental impact on the planet.

5. Quality and Safety Consideration

The IIJ Group conducts comprehensive assessments of quality, safety, pricing, delivery times, and supply stability, and procures competitive products and services that meet its business needs.

6. Information Security

The IIJ Group rigorously manages the security of all information, including personal information, obtained through the suppliers.

7. Information Disclosure

The IIJ Group will disclose the status of its initiatives and other relevant information in accordance with its Human Rights Policy and this Supply Chain Procurement Policy on the company website and through other channels.
